I suggest you ...

Do NOT permanently re-size my recordings please.

Please do not permanently re-size my recordings when I want to upload to youtube. This has forced me to re-record videos. Please also support uploading higher resolutions. For now I must save my files out to full resolution video and then manually upload them to youtube. I fully understand the need to simplify software, but auto re-sizing videos and not allowing direct resolution selection is frustrating for power users.

If you want to upload to YouTube you should record at 720p or 1080p size to avoid resize and black bars.

If you do record at a different resolution then the app will resize to 720p for you when you select YouTube upload.

You can undo that resize by clicking the Edit option then click on the undo arrow in the upper right corner or clicking the drop down arrow and selecting to go back in the edit history to the “Created” entry which will put your recording back to the original size.
